We use the hosting service in order to perform contracts with prospective and existing customers (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR), and so that our online presence can be managed securely, swiftly and efficiently through a professional provider (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Our hosting service will only process your data to the extent necessary to discharge its obligations under the contract, and always follows our instructions with regard to this data.

In order to ensure our processing complies with data processing regulations, we have agreed an order processing contract with our hosting service.

Data processing (customer and order processing details)

We collect, process and use personal data only where necessary to establish, arrange the structure of or modify the legal relationship (stock level data). This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, where your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contract matters. We collect, process and use personal data relating to use of this website (usage data) only where necessary to enable the visitor to make full use of the service or for invoicing purposes.

Any customer data collected will be deleted once the order is complete or the business relationship has ended. Statutory retention times are not unaffected.

5. Analytics tools and marketing

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics web analytics services. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

IP anonymisation

We have enabled IP anonymisaton on this website. This means that your IP address will initially be shortened by Google within a member state of the European Union or in another contracting state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, before transfer to the US. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website on behalf of the operator of this website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

Order processing

We have agreed an order processing contract with Google and fully adhere to the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Retention time

Data stored by Google at user and event level which is linked to cookies, user IDs or marketing IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) are anonymised after 26 months or deleted.
